In your first session, we will explore your past and current struggles. I like to call this session the "get to know you" session. We will decide on goals for therapy and I will answer any questions you may have on the therapy process. Sessions are typically scheduled for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Frequency of meetings will be mutually decided after your first session based on your individual needs and expectations. Typical examples may be weekly to every other week.

Therapeutic Solutions works with children ages 9 or older.

Yes! We offer telehealth for those located within the state of Wisconsin. Amy will provide you with a private virtual link the day of your session.

Appointments take place at our office in Waukesha, WI. We are located conveniently off of I-94 at 2312 North Grandview Boulevard, Ste 203, Waukesha, WI 53188.

Unfortunately, at this time, Therapeutic Solutions office does not have an elevator available. However, Amy does offer telehealth options, to ensure therapy is accessible to all.

Amy will often include family or loved ones in the therapy process by offering coaching and education to improve support in the home setting. I am happy to conduct formal family sessions, parent coaching sessions, or just provide check-ins as requested.

Amy's approach uses evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I like to meet my clients where they are at and encourage positive coping throughout our work together. I am happy to collaborate with schools and other care providers to give the best quality care.
